Cafe Bar

A public house for almost 200 years, the bar at the Morecambe Hotel offers a friendly pub style welcome.

The full cafe and bar range is chosen for quality, exclusivity and appeal by licensees Dan and Amy Winward. Drinks are served from an impressive bar recreated to the original dimensions in solid oak and slate.

Bar seating is on comfortable, leather, button-backed sofas and aside these are drinks tables. The area features an exposed stone wall that was part of the original stable block of this Grade II listed property.

Alcoholic drinks

Alongside premium Spanish lager we provide an excellent selection of local and UK brewed bitters, cask ales, craft ales, refreshing ciders, carefully selected wines and a tempting range of stronger spirits. Read more on our drink brands.

For special celebrations, we keep Champagne on ice, and our cocktail waiter can create a drink to your favourite recipe.

Freshly Ground Coffee

Our coffee beans are provided by a renowned local roasting house, Atkinsons of Lancaster. We freshly grind beans for each order to ensure maximum flavour and aroma, then a professionally trained Barista diligently creates a perfect cup of Atkinson's coffee to a prescribed technique, and present it in the style you prefer Read more.

Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs are welcome within the bar area and may also be taken through to the patio. If you've been walking the Prom then ask for a fresh water bowl when you order.

Did you know the bar is thought to have been the stables area of the original coaching inn. Marks found during the 2014/2015 renovation on the original ceiling beams may even have resulted from the very large coaching horses having a little nibble!
